Understand the flow
How Pull works, step by step.
From sign‑up to your first connection, Pull is designed to be clear, intentional, and easy to tune to your pace.
How Pull Works
Set your intentions
Choose whether you're here for friendship, dating, or something long‑term. You can adjust at any time as life changes.
Create your AI version
Complete questionnaires about yourself and what attracts you, review photos and voices to build your preference catalog, then chat with AI avatars that match your style. This creates your AI version that will find matches for you.
Shape your profile
Add photos, interest tags, and prompts that reflect who you are. Optional questions help us understand your values and pace.
Explore, match, and connect
You will be able to see your top six matches, and if one feels most promising, match, message, and take things offline when you're ready.
What the score means
A simple guide to reading compatibility on Pull.
Pull’s compatibility score runs from 0–100. Most everyday matches fall between 60–85—high enough to be worth exploring, low enough that you’ll still learn a lot in conversation.
- • 80–100: You’re likely aligned on values, pacing, and key lifestyle preferences.
- • 65–79: A promising baseline with a few areas where you may approach life differently.
- • 50–64: You might connect on certain interests, but expectations or routines may diverge.
The score is a starting point, not a verdict. Some of the best connections happen when you’re open to being surprised—and when you remember that people are more than numbers.
Behind every score
- • Foundations — relationship goals, distance, lifestyle compatibility.
- • Values — what you prioritise in work, rest, and relationships.
- • Pace — how quickly you like to move from first message to first meeting.
- • Conversation — how you tend to express yourself and respond to others.
Tips for better matches
Be honest about your pace
If you’re slow to reply or prefer weekend conversations, say so. Pull will favour people whose rhythms are compatible.
Use prompts with intention
Answer at least three prompts that reveal how you think, not just what you like. That’s where real compatibility comes through.
Close the loop kindly
If a match isn’t right, unmatch or let them know instead of disappearing. It keeps everyone’s experience healthier.
Give feedback on matches
When a match feels especially aligned (or way off), use the feedback tools. It helps improve your future recommendations.
Refresh your profile regularly
Update interests, photos, and intentions as your life evolves. Fresh context leads to fresher connections.
Prioritize safety every time
Meet in public, tell a friend where you’re going, and trust your instincts. A great match will respect your boundaries.
